The Real Neat Blog Award 2

G’day! I was nominated for the Real Neat Blog Award by……………………………………

………………………………………………………The energetic………………………………………………………..

…………………………………The exuberant……………………………………

………………………………….the…uh……um……………………………………………………………..

SHAHESHAL!!!!!

You need to follow her – she’s one of the most eccentric, bubbly, fun bloggers I have ever met! You won’t regret following her!

https://shaheshal.wordpress.com/2020/04/17/the-real-neat-blog-award-2/

1. Display the blog award logo in your blog.
2. Thank the blogger(s) who nominated you.
3. Do not forget to link to their blogging website.
4. Answer all the questions they have given you.
5. Nominate 7 to 10 bloggers of your choice.
6. Ask them 7 questions.

SHAHESHAL’S QUESTIONS:

When did something start out badly for you but in the end, it was great?

Me learning how to write. And some movies.

Oh, and participating in a writing roleplay group. Cause I had no idea what to do, it was difficult and sometimes embarrassing trying to get the hang of it, but once I did, it was awesome!

What food is delicious but a pain to eat?

What? Are you serious? Since when is food a pain to eat?!

What is the most amazing slow motion video you’ve seen?

What makes you roll your eyes every time you hear it?

“It’s too late for me. You go. Leave me.”

What’s your cure for hiccups?

I just drink lots of water and just wait for it to disappear. It always does eventually.

What movie quotes do you use on a regular basis?

The “And I…am Iron Man” quote from Avengers: Endgame when I’m goofing off with my friends.

And quotes from Pontius Pilate from Monty Python’s Life of Brian. Pilate in that movie has a lisp – every r is pronounced as a w – and it’s bloody hilawious!

What was cool when you were young but isn’t cool now?

Since I’m still young, I’ll go with ‘What was cool when you were a little kid, but isn’t cool now?’

That will be some of the shows I watched when I was little and some of the things I said and did while playing that I just cringe at now.

MY NOMINEES:

bottomlesscoffee007

Jay

Slim Jim

I can’t think of anyone else, sorry, so whoever else wants to do this, feel free!

MY QUESTIONS:

Why should I visit your country?

What’s your favourite animal?

What’s your best memory?

If you were a colour, what colour would you be?

What is a guilty pleasure of yours?

Are you into Cryptozoology?

What is your greatest accomplishment?

Have fun!

      1. I’m doing a Year 12 course, so I’m meant to finish it in a couple years time, but considering that I’m going through it faster than they thought, I could be finishing it sooner and plus, with all the stuff going on with my sick brother, I’ve fallen a bit behind, so I’m not really sure exactly when, but hopefully sooner than in two years.

      2. Getting ready to go on a trip with me later. It will take a few hours. But we still have about fifty minutes before we have to leave, so you’ll have time to talk to him, don’t worry πŸ™‚

      3. He hasn’t replied yet because he’s getting ready for the trip. Once he’s finished, which will probably be soon, he’ll reply.

      4. Not really. He’ll tell me sometimes about you two are talking about and/or show me the emails if it’s something REALLY funny, but generally no, I don’t. (I don’t know his password, so I can’t hack ’em, lol)

      5. I didn’t get notified of your comment in the WP bell thingy for some reason. I wasn’t getting notified of Shaheshal’s replies to me on her site, either. I wonder what’s going on.

      1. It’s the last installment of the Halloween slasher franchise
It talks about the killer called Michael Myers who wears a mask and kills people
        It’s actually pretty famous
It’s a franchise that’s been going on since the 1970’s

  1. CONGRATULATIONS Racheal! LOVED ALL YOUR ANSWERS! (Thanks for saying those words about me though! I’m Blushing)πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

      1. Doing well but busy preparing to teach a semester on theology for an underground seminary overseas beginning next week for a couple of hours one night a week for the next few weeks!

      2. Yeah, it was. But he’s regained his memory now, which I’m relieved about.
Yeah, he’s still at the hospital. Me, J-M, and a couple of our brothers are going to be traveling out of town to go back home as it looks like Yoel will be in hospital for a while.

      3. It’s about an hour or so’s drive from where we’re staying, but now that me and J-M are traveling back to our town, it’s going to be quite a few hours away from us.

      4. Will do. We’ve arrived safely back home; had a surprisingly good trip and Yoel looks to be in hospital for a little bit longer. He keeps passing out every so often for some reason.

      5. No, he doesn’t have a heart condition. He has severe epilepsy – at least, that’s what I think it is. I can’t quite remember what the doctors said it was.

  2. Thank you so much sweets. I appreciate you awarding me with the Real Neat Blog award but given my time constraints I won’t participate. I love that you thought of me. Have a good day and things are going well? I have not heard from you in awhile. I am tired all the time it seems but am off now this weekend so hoping to rest up and be raring to go on Tuesday. I have a three day weekend this weekend.

    1. You’re welcome! You deserve it! Fair enough, no pressure. It’s entirely voluntary.
Hope you have a good day, too (or night, wherever it is where you are when you read this, lol) and things are…okay. I haven’t had any problems, but one of my brothers is in hospital and had an accident in the toilet this afternoon and now can’t remember his own name or anything and another has been seeing the doctor about some stuff, but it seems to be going so much better than the other brother.
I totally get being tired all the time – I’ve been babysitting my youngest brother while my parents are sorting out the stuff my those other two brothers that I mentioned and I haven’t EVER appreciated my mother’s job as a mother until now.
Cool! I’m glad you get so much time off work πŸ™‚ Hope you and your son are staying safe!

  3. YAYY CONGRATULATIONS πŸŽ‰πŸŽŠ That one line from Endgame is so perfectly clever because I can use it in every single situation LOL πŸ˜†
