One of my younger siblings wrote a story, and I thought it was so hilarious, I decided to share it on here, exactly as it was written. Hope you enjoy!
Sarah sighed and looked up from putting a diaper on Julius. “Yes?”
“May I have some chocolate?” her four-year-old daughter, Emily, asked.
“I want one, too!”
“Me, me, me!”
Julius jumped up and down, holding out his hands.
Sarah groaned. This is the problem with having three sets of triplets – when one wants goodies, they all want it! “No,” she replied, “get dressed and in the car. We’ll be late for our cruise.”
The kids all went “Ohhhh!”
“Pleeeasse?” her son, Jack, pleaded with puppy dog eyes.
Sarah replied firmly, “NO! Now be quiet and hop in the car.”
The kids actually went quiet and hopped in the car. Sarah picked up Julius and strapped him and the others in with the help of her husband, Zac. She and Zac buckled up and she started the engine. Suddenly, Emily began chanting: “Chocolate! Chocolate!”
To Sarah’s dismay, all of the other kids joined in the chant; the babies raising their hands in affirmation.
Suddenly, Sarah realised Zac was pumping his fist, chanting along.
She shot him a glare.
“You can’t win,” Zac grinned.
Sarah sighed and checked the time. We’ll have time. She sighed. “Alright,” she conceded.
The kids all cheered – including Zac. “You’re so considerate,” he joked.
“I hate you,” she couldn’t help but smile.
