The Storm

The following is inspired by this photo prompt:

I am now over half-way with editing Zion: The Rebellion for publication on Kindle. It is a sequel to my other published book ZION (click on link if you are interested in buying it). Zion: The Rebellion is my second book in my science-fiction dystopian action-adventure trilogy called the Zion trilogy. I have also published two other books (both short story collections). If you are interested in buying them or just want to take a look, click here where you will find the details of where they are available on Kindle as e-books.

Honestly, when I saw this painting, I immediately thought of Frozen (2013). This will be about Elsa’s and Anna’s parents last moments in the storm.

DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN FROZEN, THEIR CHARACTERS, OR STORIES NOR DO I CLAIM OWNERSHIP OF THEM. I AM NOT TRYING TO MAKE MONEY, SIMPLY WRITING A FANFICTION STORY!! LIKE TINA DID WITH HER STAR WARS/STAR TREK/MARY POPPINS CROSSOVER.

I will be including some Disney fan theories in this story, whether or not they are actually true. But, that’s what we fanfic writers do. Again, I DO NOT CLAIM OWNERSHIP OF ANY THEORIES, DISNEY CHARACTERS OR THE MOVIE FROZEN AT ALL!!! I’m simply writing a fanfic story.

Anyway, on with the story!

The wave came crashing down.

Her hands fumbled for a grip. She felt herself being pulled away with the receding water.

No!

Where’s something I can grab?

Found something…

Nothing.

Something grabbed her arm.

A hand.

She looked up into the freckled face of Agnarr. His blonde hair was soaking wet. “Come on, Iduna!” Agnarr yelled. The roar of the wind and clap of thunder almost drowned out his voice. With her free hand, she clasped his arms and he pulled her back onto her feet. He pulled her close and wrapped an arm around her shoulders.

“Get inside!” he shouted in her ear.

She nodded numbly, shaking her head to try and stave off the freezing cold. Her dress clung to her skin, making squeaking noises as they continued on the slippery deck to get down below. He suddenly tackled her to the deck, covering her with his body, clinging tightly to some securely tied down cargo.

She opened her mouth. “Wha-?”

Another wave crashed down on deck. Water rammed into her mouth and nose. Bubbles of air streamed from her mouth. Everything started to fade away. Panic seized her as she tried to fight for air.

The water receded.

Thunder clapped.

Rain poured down.

She gasped for air, retching up water. Her chest hurt as she expelled the water. Agnarr wrapped her up in a tight embrace. My dear husband, she thought lovingly as she rested her head weakly against his chest. He gently pulled her up and they continued to the hatch, her legs feeble.

Agnarr and Iduna – king and queen of Arendelle – had been traveling on their way to their cousins – Rapunzel and Flynn – when this tempest suddenly sprang up out of nowhere.

Agnarr slipped and she fell down with him. “Come on,” she rasped. “Let’s get inside!”

His eyes were wide with terror.

He wasn’t looking at her.

He was looking at something behind her.

She turned to look.

Her blood froze.

A huge wave was coming towards them.

Her two girls – my babies – faces flashed before her eyes just the wave crashed down. The deck tilted down into the sea.

Iduna and Agnarr held each other tight as it slipped into the churning waves.

As she let go of her last breath, she saw a clear picture of her daughters – Elsa and Anna.

I love you two.

Then everything went dark.

Again, I stress that this is purely a fanfiction story – nothing more. Disney’s brilliant minds own Frozen, I don’t in any way shape or form and I am not trying to claim ownership or get money from this or whatever.

I’m simply writing a piece of fanfiction.

I hope you enjoyed this!
