I’M PUBLISHED!!!

I knew I should’ve told you guys to sit down.

Yes, I’ve finally gotten published!!!!

What book did I get published?

ZION, the first book in my Zion trilogy. Other books in the trilogy are Zion: The Rebellion and Zion: War of Thrones (The Rebellion and War of Thrones I will publish later).

WARNING!!! To those who read the first book – ZION – I did some major editing on this novel, so it will be different to what you remember, but I hope better and more comprehensive with the rest of the trilogy. But it’s still basically the same. I published it this morning on Amazon’s Kindle – which I strongly recommend if you want to publish a book.

It’s an ebook and I use the pen name Ash Digest.

THE COVER

PLOT DESCRIPTION

Edward is given an offer.
He refuses.
They kill him. His wife and son are now on the run and his daughter’s missing.
His wife creates Zion – a secret organisation designed to fight the Omega Order, who killed her husband. As their enemies start closing in, Ivanka Brown, an Omega agent, starts to realise not everything about her reality adds up and must decide where her loyalties lie.

WOW!!!!!! Words cannot describe how excited I feel right now. I’m actually published – it’s still hard to believe at the moment!

I want to say a serious THANK YOU!! to all my followers and readers on my blog. I love you guys and you really mean a lot to me. I want to say a special thank you to the following:

bottomlesscoffee007 – THANK YOU for your unfailing support to the Zion trilogy – specifically the last book Zion: War of Thrones. You were amongst the few I count as a true friend and I really love our conversations and banter. Thank you for giving me your honest opinion and encouragement with my stories – I could tell straight away that you meant what you said. You ‘swept my off my feet’ so to speak, with your very first comment, and I will always count you as a friend. You are a gem.

John – you are such a dear friend. I really loved our little (Okay, loooong) conversations that would go all over the place. THANK YOU for reading my entire Zion trilogy and for giving me your honest opinion – even if we didn’t always agree on what said opinion 🙂 We’ve had a share of disagreements and misunderstandings, but I always look forward to reading your posts. You are such a great guy and such a great and dear friend.

Britchy – my life wouldn’t be the same without you. I am always in stitches reading your posts, and you brighten my day. You are a true joy and a great person and fun to interact with. Her daughter’s in hospital due to a back injury, so go over to her blog and send them a little love.

Dee – thank you for enjoying my quirky stories and for your support. I enjoy our chats and you are a great blogger.

THANK YOU again to all who read ZION. If you choose to buy my book (no hard feelings if you don’t and I do understand), but if you choose to, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.

      14. I’m in Australia. My father and I follow God as well. My father has asked me to tell me something to encourage you.
My father was born in New Zealand and was really independent as all his life he has being building, constructing and managing construction sites until he reached 70 and had three strokes unbeknownst to him and he was the only one out of 80 people to have suffered strokes to be able to still have all his faculties and has relearnt so much as he was brought up religious. He thought he knew what love was but when 20 years ago when he and my mum came together, Father said that He was going to teach them how to love. They’ve just realised that He’s doing that now.
In religious days, somehow they had the concept sex/love wasn’t something to be enjoyed but Father/God came to dad four times in hospital to tell him and show him what He has ahead for him/us and it’s like he’s just beginning life. He, too, can’t handle long posts/stuff and likes “real” comments/reading but really loves real books.
My father gets me to tell him what I’m doing with my blog and with interacting with others as his eyes have not yet fully focused after the three strokes, and I mentioned you, and he wanted to tell you all that.
When were you born? (Me asking). If you need a hand with writing your memoirs, I’ll be happy to help.

      3. Things are going as well as can be expected right now. I was sick with bronchitis and a sinus infection for over two weeks, then after I got well I went on a hike and fell and sprained my ankle pretty bad. I couldn’t even walk on it to finish the hike so my husband had to carry me about 2 1/2 miles back to our car. My hero. So now I am wearing a walking boot ad trying to heal from that. Crazy huh?
        How are you?

      14. Hi Racheal! Still healing. Going on 5 weeks now. The doctor says the bone will take about 6-7 weeks of healing, then several months of physical therapy for the sprain. I tore and stretched some ligaments and also strained the tendons in my foot near the toes. It has not been a great time for me lately. LOL. Thanks for checking in. 🙂

        How are you?

        Liked by 1 person

      15. Father, I pray that every bone, ligament, and joint in Dee’s body comes into Divine order and function and operates in the perfection they were created to function in Yahushua’s/Jesus’ name Amen.
I’m fine. I’ve been doing TAFE for the last couple weeks – do it two days a week. I’m really enjoying it. I’ve also recently seen Tangled and The Bourne Identity for the first time and am reading The Bourne Identity book as well. I’ve also seen Captain America: The First Avenger, Thor, the first two Iron Man movies, and Ant-Man. Really looking forward to seeing The Avengers.

      16. Thank you so much for such a wonderful prayer! Amen!

I’ve only just heard of TAFE, from your brother. LOL. Glad you’re enjoying it. 🙂 All those movies are great. I loved every one of them. I’ve not read the Bourne Identity book, you’ll have to let me know what you think. I heard there are quite a few books in the Bourne series.

P.S. I just bought your Kindle book, Zion! Can’t wait to begin reading it. 🙂

      17. You’re welcome! 🙂
I know, that’s why I mentioned as I knew that you knew what it was, lol.
Yes, there are quite a few books – the first one I read was The Bourne Enigma, but that had so much sex, violence, and a rape scene that it distracted me and J-M from it’s really great plot. Identity is so much better, but much more violent than the movie.
Thanks! Is that the e-book or the paperback? (I forgot). Hope you enjoy it!

        Liked by 1 person

      18. Good to know about the books. I won’t bother reading them. I loved the movies though. I bought your ebook. That’s about all I read anymore. So handy to have them all in one place. I’m going to start on it tonight. I have no doubt I’ll enjoy it!

        Liked by 1 person

      19. I don’t think I’ll bother reading the rest of the books in the Bourne series. Yeah, The Bourne Identity movie is excellent – though, I’m not sure whether or not I want to watch the rest of the movies. What are they like violent wise? Are they as brutal as the 2002 movie?
I have never actually read an e-book. I prefer paperback – it’s easier on the eyes with me.
        Enjoy!

        Liked by 1 person

      20. I think they’re all close to the same as far as violence goes. My favorite is the last one of the trilogy. It doesn’t seem quite as bad with the violence and it explains everything. E-books aren’t bad if you have an e-reader. But if you’re reading from a tablet, it’s definitely harder on the eyes. Have a great night!

    1. Thanks! That’s one of the good things about Kindle – it’s automatically made available to all the different Kindle stores throughout the world, depending, of course, whether you have worldwide rights (which I do) or limited rights (I’ve forgotten the exact terminology. The latter means, if you’ve published it before, you have limited rights to what countries it can be available in).
